The challenge
HP needed to discuss with their existing clients in one-to-one or one-to-few meetings how best to build and optimize their IT, to identify and exploit upselling potential. Pepper’s task was to support sales with a compact tool.
The idea
The development of an “event-in-a-box”: an application which allowed sales staff simply and intuitively to put together all the materials and arguments they needed for client meetings. In the app were all relevant documents, for example sales arguments, battle cards, data sheets etc. The tool was supplemented by communication material which suited the specific needs of each client, like DMs, eDMs, and “Thank you” cards.
The result
- The “event in a box” was a great success
- It was widely used by sales teams
- Number of successfully completed deals increased noticeably
- Used for further campaigns with selected clients
